Belts and Pulleys - Swift Subdomain

The motorized skein-winder uses one belt. It is a clear 1/4" diameter x 20.5" long belt. The pulleys used on both the motor and the skein-winder are 2" diameter diecast metal V pulleys. We use a round belt in a V pulley so that we get a slippage effect when and if there is a jam or other restriction in the yarn path. Notice - if the drive belt is tight versus loose then the slippage effect will occur later.
